The Tongala Hay Bale Trail started with the installation of Bluey and Bingo in July 2020. A local farming family painted the bales for their children but generated so much interest, they were moved for public viewing at the Tongala Post Office.

The Tongala Development Group, a committee focused on a sustainable future for Tongala, began the Tongala Hay Bale Trail after this initial success.

The Tongala Hay Bale Trail will be on display from Friday 1 December 2023 to Thursday 4 January 2024 in various locations around Tongala.

Maps of Hay Bale Locations will be available from local businesses. A free community event to bring joy to the festival season.
